Currently, I am a Florida-based illustrator, pursuing a BFA at Ringling College of Art and Design. I grew up heavily influenced by comic books, fashion dolls, and any creative media I could get my hands on. Now I venture on, continuing to bring many more of my own and others' creations to life. My illustrations further explore and experiment with storytelling, maximalism, and a stylization that embraces a sense of dynamic whimsy. I carry on with my fascination for characters and atmospheric storytelling.

 

Overall my work is quite interwoven with interpreting the fantastical, surreal, and strange drawn primarilly from my enjoyment of thrillers, fantasy, horror, and sci-fi. Thematically I tend to expand on my intrigue with the depth of these concepts that make us human. These such themes are from which I draw on for many of my concepts and ideations, in one way or another.

Although adjacent, I also like to depict the joy and small comforts of the everyday moments through my separate slice-of-life critter illustrations. A parallel series that, on the flip side, provides a genuinely friendly sweetness, contrasting the moodiness of my artwork's more dramatic side.

 

However, regardless of style or project, I also prioritize valuing the creative process of all my work with thoughtful intentionality from beginning to end. Ideation, research, development, stylization, and all til the finalized results—I pride myself on being thorough with my craft. Personally, an integral goal of mine as a creative is to bring a very human and refreshing perspective overall to our experiencing of nuance, joy, care, heart, sincerity, and a depthful reflectiveness. These are themes I wish to invite all my viewers to explore and ruminate on.
